Summary:

Creates Storyboards and Concept Art for M:4s and commercials that describe action/animation and that communicate ideas, moods, and feelings.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creates layouts which visually describe, frame by frame, the action and animation. Also, makes drawings and paintings which determine setting and mood through color, lighting and detail.
• Makes presentations to clients as required.
• Researches and assembles reference materials.
• Archives all work.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years in a related field preferred.
• Exceptional traditional drawing skills. Training in and/or a demonstrable understanding of the basic principles of art including perspective, lighting, balance, and color relationships.
• A working knowledge of artwork presentation preparation.
• Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Some knowledge of Macintosh computers and Photoshop a plus.
